A Love That Is Ours To Create

Healing requires investigating the idea that our worth; that LOVE, is something we must look for outside of ourselves.

Our healing is reclaiming our power - learning to embody the truth that we are the authorities of not only our lives but our destinies. Our healing is reclaiming our humanity - it’s learning to hold space for everything we’ve been taught to silence, it’s learning to radically center, and trust, ourselves. It’s recognizing that loving you will NEVER take from me — because that’s not how love works. Love amplifies and grows and expands. If it requires scarcity, then it‘s not quite love, yet.

Our healing is learning to feel again - it’s remembering that or humanity is aligned with the Earth, with life itself. It’s remembering that our feelings are not something to numb or silence or shame they are our connection to the cosmos. Our feelings will always point us to awakening. If we honor them, they will always show us what we need.

Our healing is learning to reparent ourselves outside of white supremacy’s influence. It’s choosing to return to the ways of our Ancestors that are Earth-aligned. Our healing is reclaiming our energy - it’s the practice of recognizing that there is nothing to do with a paradigm that is dying but to let it die. We can assist the inevitable transformation that is currently underway by taking our power back, by asserting new boundaries that are life-aligned, by removing our energy from toxic and co-dependent dynamics so that we can pour that energy into imagining, and conceiving a love that is whole and mighty. A love that is ours to create.

I believe that we are capable of co-creating love on Earth - that we are capable of really loving one another.

We can only give each other what we have first cultivated in ourselves.

Which means that choosing to heal ourselves, choosing to love ourselves - is an act of literal and actual revolution.

Which means there’s nothing to search for, there’s nothing to seek, there’s nothing to prove, there’s no one to convince - the way forward is actually within.

I believe that white supremacy is the attempt to love oneself through the subjugation of others And I believe that those of us whom it subjugates are taught to seek love in it’s validation
