Art of the Earth
The Earth holds the templates for new ways of being that aren’t actually new, just remembered. Nature reminds us that being who we are can be a source of ease. Life shows us what it is to be in constant collaboration.
The bee doesn’t spend time trying to be a flower. The sun doesn’t fight the dust for the right to shine. And in being who they are; both the bee and the sun contribute to sustaining life itself.
So much of how we relate to ourselves and each other - so much of the wounding that’s been normalized as “the way things are” stems from the belief that there’s something wrong with us. Scarcity relies on the assumption that we are wrong as we are - and that to assert dominance over others, is what gives us a sense of place.
But we already belong. We are the Art of the Earth; each created in a one-time epic collaboration between the Earth and the Stars. Every single person holds and reflects the beauty of the Earth within them. Every single person is worthy of love and safety. Every single person is unique beyond what words could attempt to measure.
But in the gaps created by the fear that there isn’t enough for us all, we end up inaccurately perceiving ourselves and each other. And in that misperception we become bees fighting flowers - destructively wielding our pain to fight the community and the collaboration that is our birthright.
The Earth can teach us to remember. Notice how the Earth holds us in every moment of everyday. Allow that constant truth to create the space to wonder; what if there is enough for us all?
Ask the Earth to show you how it feels to remember.
