Minding My Business

The truth is - as much as I’ve had to work through societal and ancestral conditioning around seeking approval and being likeable in the interest of being safe, my authentic self really and truly doesn’t give a fuck how people perceive me.

Learning to navigate that truth while also having compassion for the impulses that aren’t in alignment with that truth, and that aren’t even authentically mine, is a process and a practice. It’s the work of dismantling those internalized beliefs that attempt to dictate who you are so that you can let who you REALLY are come through.

What I know is at the end of the day I am deeply committed to being who I am.

And if who I am doesn’t resonate with who someone else is?

Then that’s not only okay, but that’s actually none of my business.

Not everyone can handle me But that’s none of my business…

Not everyone can handle me

But that’s none of my business…
